We are honoured to announce that Accesa & RaRo and Metafinanz teamed up and won the 1st Runner Up prize at SAP Hack2Build Hackathon.

Hack2Build initiative is bringing together SAP Partners from EMEA & MEE and encourage them to turn ideas and concepts into tangible prototypes with valuable coaching and guidance from SAP experts.

In just 7 days the participants need to put together a prototype and then build and deliver a compelling solution by applying a combination of technologies to solve current business challenges. The hackathon covered 4 stages:

1. IDEATE: Bring Real World Business Challenge

2. HACK: Build Prototype

3. BUILD: Build Real World Business Solution

4. MARKET: Publish and Commercialize

Once the hackathon ended, the winners got guidance on the best ways to package the solution and get it ready for the go-to-market strategy.

We want to give a round of applause to our team of technology experts consisting of Alexandra Miloi, Service Delivery Manager for SAP Development and Consulting and Bogdan Neag, ABAP Software Engineer joined forces with the Metafinanz team, consisting of Oliver Maurath, Business Manager, Sylvester Obermayer, Solution Architect, Mirza Sadic and Kenneth Oben as Integration Consultants, for winning the 1st Runner-up prize after evaluation of a working prototype and business case by a panel of Judges.

This award is given to individuals who demonstrate skills in business, design, and tech through a demo session of a working prototype by using the SAP Business Technology Platform.

The solution for which they were awarded aims to enable remote work and decrease processing times for documents who need an electronic signature. Basically, the solution allows the document template to be uploaded and configured in eSign Anywhere, a 3rd party software for electronic signatures. Additionally, during the hackathon they've managed to build the following integrations flows and features:

1. Integration with Success Factors Employee Central.

2. Callback eSign Anywhere on Completed Documents - Triggered when the user signs the document received by email.

3. sFTP Transfer of the documents and logs from eSign Anywhere - Update Signature Status Completed in Success Factors Employee Central.

To realize the full scope of the solution, in the following weeks the team plans to also configure the solution for other electronic signature software such as AdobeSign and DocuSign.
