We’re Celebrating 18 Years of Activity and a Team of 1,000 People

Today, we are celebrating 18 years in the IT services industry and a team of 1,000 people in our offices in Romania and Europe. In 2021 we registered a revenue growth of 17.5% thanks to new business partnerships, nationwide expansion, massive investment in our learning programs and a comprehensive benefits package.

During the past 18 years, we’ve established ourselves as a trusted partner for organisations in both regulated and non-regulated industries by providing an end-to-end experience and delivering successful projects for more than 65 companies across Europe, from global enterprise-level organisations to mid-range and disruptive startups.

We’ve enjoyed consistent growth, with a 17.5% increase in revenue last year and now we’re celebrating 1,000 people in both technical and non-technical roles.

We credit our progress to our ability to build strong technology teams, a tailored approach in our business and culture, as well as a focus on real, authentic collaboration. We’ve built a reputation of delivering over 90% of projects within time and budget and our internal assessments show that 90% of our customers say that by collaborating with us, they’re able to meet their business objectives. Responding to the dynamics of the fast-paced IT services industry we’re operating in and the changing needs of our partners, we’re consistently diversifying our portfolio. This means we’re providing IT professionals with a wider range of opportunities, as part of projects that vary in size and complexity, and we’re ensuring that we envision, develop, and deliver the solutions that help our clients’ business evolve.

We provide a large spectrum of tailored IT services, leveraging mainstream, niche, as well as legacy technologies and, throughout the years, we’ve established ourselves as a trusted partner for organisations in both regulated and non-regulated industries by creating an end-to-end experience through services that cover initial assessment of clients’ business needs, detailed technical discovery and architectural design exercises, software/service implementation and post go-live assistance and support.

Designed to support both current market requirements and help companies become future-ready from a digitalisation point of view, our organisation has a proven capacity for fast integration and ramp up across all our services.

In addition to continuing our expansion nationally, in the employer market, we’re developing new business partnerships in new markets, consistently diversifying our services portfolio in the DACH, Benelux, and UK markets, as well as with Romanian organisations, supporting them on their digital evolution journeys.

By joining Ratiodata in 2020, together with our sister-company RaRo, we’re also part of the Atruvia Group, with 1,34 BLN Euro in revenue registered in the 2020 financial year. The group supports 1,081 banks, including around 820 German Volksbanks and Raiffeisenbanks. Complimenting the group’s successful track-record of providing tailored solutions for highly regulated industries with our 18 years of experience in delivering digital services, we are contributing to how Banking is being reshaped into FinTech, throughout the DACH region.

With a headcount of over 1,000 people, we cover both technical (Software Development, Quality Assurance, UX/UI Design) as well as coordination skillsets (Product/Project Management, Agile coaching, business analysis). In the past 5 years, we’ve doubled our headcount, maintaining an average yearly net headcount growth of 17%, and we are planning to continue recruiting nation-wide for a variety of both technical and non-technical roles.

Our Culture, One of the Strengths in Recruitment

With a flatter organisational structure than typical companies of this size, we enable a higher degree of autonomy for our people, an increased ability in decision-making where decisions are needed, and better, more fit-for-purpose solutions for our partners.

We focus on building trust across all our collaborations, nurturing a people-first culture that ensures our people thrive, our clients’ businesses evolve, and end users to succeed. It enables us to work with our clients, leveraging a consultancy-led mindset, rather than for them, following a delivery-oriented one. This creates a more rewarding professional experience for our people, as well as better outcomes for our clients. From autonomous project teams, self-driven career development and technical communities, a hybrid work environment to our holistic benefits programme, we strive to nurture an environment in which people can tailor their professional journey in a way that enables them to grow, care for their wellbeing, and have a real impact through their work.

We were one of the first companies in the Cluj market to implement a more tailored working environment that better fits teams’ needs and ensures a rewarding and productive professional experience. With the launch of our holistic benefits programme, Equilibrium covering the four pillars that come together to support our wellbeing – social, physical, emotional wellbeing and work-life fusion – we introduced several work from home days to enable better flexibility, as early as 2016.

In 2021 the programme was overhauled and among the many updates made, we continue to support self-development through a 260% increase in coaching and therapy sessions, we upgraded the health insurance package, drove many more opportunities for our people to socialise remotely, in various sessions with guest speakers and subject matter experts, increased and diversified the daily sports classes facilitated by our internal personal trainer, as well as provided nutrition counselling.

Having introduced unlimited work from home in 2019, we were able to effectively adapt to a remote working environment in 2020. In 2021, we continued to prioritise safety and flexibility, adopting a hybrid working model, where our colleagues could choose to work from home, the office, or a mix of the two. In 2022, together with our sister-company RaRo, we also introduced a work-from-abroad programme, further enabling flexibility for our people.

This flexible approach and wide range of opportunities has enabled us to significantly increase our national footprint, with colleagues based in Bucharest, Sibiu, Brasov, Timisoara, in addition to our existing locations, Cluj-Napoca, Oradea, and Munich.

We work with a diverse range of global organisations in industries like Retail & Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, Financial Services and Automotive, leveraging both the latest technologies, as well as a combination of legacy and mainstream ones. It allows us to continuously develop our technical proficiency and industry knowledge, provide the consultancy, solution development, and ongoing support that accelerate our customers’ business evolution. The 12 core Competence Areas operating within the Chief Technology Office became a strategic part of our organisational structure last year and they continue to strengthen our technical community, while also driving innovation, continuous learning, and optimising the best practices that enable us to consistently deliver value to our clients and partners.

Together with our sister-company RaRo, we continue to heavily invest in technical, as well as non-technical learning. In 2021, we spent over 15,000 hours in trainings, across 13 different programmes and we’ve registered a 140% increase in the number of days spent connecting through Community Days.
