About the project

Our customer is an Austrian producer of glass based in Wattens. Our project is focused on SAP backend and frontend development in the SAP ECC environment.

You will be joining a growing community with colleagues specialized in diverse areas like SAP development and technical consultancy, that are involved in several projects. We focus on strong communication, both within our community and with our peers from customer side. We’re ready to support ramp-ups and deliveries, as well as facilitate sustainable learning paths for each member. All in all, we strive to enjoy the work we do, both individually and as a team.

Job Description

  • Design, code, test, document, and implement SAP application programs

  • Understand and analyze task requirements to identify any gaps or missing information needed to perform development and testing activities

  • Perform high-quality development work according to the client's development guidelines and standards

  • Work with other Application Developers, Process Teams and/or Technology Manager to identify integration issues and potential impacts of change requests

  • Ensure that all programs are completed on time and allocate appropriate resources to achieve this

  • Provide technical design specifications and support to the end-users in the form of troubleshooting guidelines and modifications to the system after it has been delivered

  • Stay up to date with the latest technological advancement and changes in the world of SAP development and adapt to these changes by self-training and research 

  • Assist in providing expertise and support to other development team members  


Must have:

  • Experience with SAP projects - Financial (CML, FI, (FS-)BP)

  • ABAP object-oriented programming knowledge

  • Experience in User exits and Enhancements implementations

  • Experience in Forms development: Smartforms, SAP Script, SAP Adobe forms

  • Understanding of modules specific customization (SPRO)

  • Advanced English and German language skills

  • Very good analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to have:

  • SAP certifications

  • SAP BI/BW experience

  • Fiori and HANA knowledge
