Summary

The client is one of the market’s leaders in providing a one stop shop in the automotive industry, that plans and implements turnkey paint shops, final assembly systems and machine and robot technology.For this the client has an MES system that has to keep its market competitiveness. For this the current application is being extended with new functionalities and also undergoes a process of modernization from a look & feel perspective as well. We are looking for a Full stack Developer that can help by understanding the client needs and helping in creating a sustainable technical solution and act as a team leader for the other colleagues.You will be working in one of the most strategic fields in the digitalization process: manufacturing on a long-term project. You will learn to work in a structured environment, in a large project with cross team collaboration. He will have to support the other colleagues evolve professionally as a team and also as individual, motivate them, see and report risks.

About the team

We currently are working with 3 agile teams for this client. For this team we currently have 3 developers from junior to senior level. We have a QA colleague for manual and automated tests and a BA that clarifies requirements with the PO on the client team. On demand we have a UI/UX expert helping with the more complex UI parts of the application. We have team lunch every other week and regular team outings. Our colleagues are part of the IoT CC.

About the project

The project is in the manufacturing industry. It is an MES (manufacturing execution system) that helps in all activities that take place within a plant. MES provides information that helps manufacturing decision makers understand how current conditions on the plant floor can be optimized to improve production output. MES works in real time to enable the control of multiple elements of the production process. Because every plant is different, the product has to adapted and extended for each customer, but also as a very generic solution. We currently have 3 agile teams working for this client. This team is an autonomous SCRUM team with 2 weeks sprint. We have defined a clear way of working. On the client side we have a PO and the rest of the team: PPO, Dev team and QA team from Accesa.

Your role:

Develop features for the product

Perform code review at team level and analyze user stories for next sprint

Team leading activities: ensure team cohesion, have regular discussions with team member, provide actions that will enhance team performance

Contribute in all phases of the development life cycle

Write well designed, testable, efficient code

Lead the team of developers

Match your skills:

3-5 years experience in Java 8, JEE 7

Knowledge of or Experience with Swagger, Glassfish, JBoss

Experience with Ms SqlServer

Knowledge or experience with Frontend: JSF

Familiarity with web services (REST) and integration patterns

Good communication skills

Team leading capabilities

Good Analytical skills and solution-oriented mindset
