Job Description

  • Create and implement platform-level cloud native system architectures with a focus on low latency, high throughput, and high availability.

  • Apply understanding of Cloud Native Principles to design solutions that optimize performance in both Private (Red Hat OpenShift) and Public Cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure).

  • Design and build cloud-native applications, leveraging expertise in cloud platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.

  • Modernize large and complex technology solutions by transitioning them to cloud environments.

  • Develop distributed micro-service systems, utilizing Service Mesh products/frameworks like Envoy, Istio, and gRPC/ProtoBuf.

  • Implement Distributed System Management/tracing and monitoring solutions, including Zipkin/Jaeger, ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, and Kiali.

  • Implement and optimize CICD processes using tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, and HELM.

  • Streamline deployment pipelines to enhance scalability, productivity, and efficiency.

  • Demonstrate expertise in Red Hat OpenShift, ensuring its effective use in the development and deployment of applications.

  • Leverage OpenShift to enhance scalability, productivity, and security.

  • Implement solutions that support scalability to accommodate growing workloads and user demands.

  • Ensure the security of cloud-native architectures by implementing best practices and integrating security measures into the development and deployment processes.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of Cloud Native Principles and architectures and Experience in creating platform level cloud native system architecture with low latency, high throughput, and high availability.

  • Knowledge and experience in, building complex solutions and developing cloud native architectures on Private (Red Hat OpenShift) and Public Cloud (AWS /GCP/Azure) and modernizing large and complex technology solutions to cloud environments.

  • Have experience in designing and building Cloud native applications. Experience in cloud platforms like Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift are a plus.

  • Experience in building distributed micro-service systems, experience with Service Mesh products/frameworks like Envoy, Istio, gRPC/ProtoBuf; Distributed System Management/tracing and monitoring such as Zipkin/Jaeger, ELK Stack, Prometheus

  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CICD) tools and processes (Example: Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, HELM, etc.)

  • OpenShift Container Platform knowledge

  • Proven expertise in designing scalable solutions for diverse workloads, enhancing productivity and efficiency.

  • Strong background in implementing robust security measures within cloud-native architectures, ensuring system reliability.

  • Demonstrated skill in implementing effective observability practices and fostering simplified communication within teams.

  • Cloud certifications (Azure/AWS/GCP)

  • RedHat certification
