With a tendency to reject rigid, cumbersome processes, people-focused organizations approach recruitment on a need-to-hire basis, trying to respond to the needs of each individual role and whenever there is a new position to fill.

As our team has grown to over 700 people over the past three years, we needed to infuse the agility that is part of our delivery model into our approach to recruitment, as well as people engagement, mitigating the risks of limited freedom that stem from formulating organization-wide processes.

As an autonomous, goal-driven team of recruiting professionals, we turned the challenges associated with different priorities, ways of working and a large number of recruitment requests into an opportunity to deliver alignment across the organization through recruitment transformation and acceleration.

Taking full ownership of the process, we partnered with business unit managers, business area managers and very focused teams, involving them in all phases of recruitment, ensuring full-alignment and developing a consistent, objective, business-wide candidate journey.

With the help of influencers, we’ve established interview cells that consist of both recruiters and technical experts, with a clear, multi-staged approach that ensures a faster, distributed decision-making process.

We’ve developed an assessment standard for each specific technology and department, going beyond technical skills to include competencies as well, ensuring not just a fit with the role but one with our organization as well.

The frictionless approach we’ve built, bottom-up, infuses our recruitment process with increased agility, consistency in terms of branding and candidate experience, alignment across the business, shorter time to hire and affords us significant cost efficiency.
