You might just be what we’re looking for: a tech enthusiast, self-motivated and responsible Junior DevOps Engineer to join our team. You will be working alongside skilled and fun people, with plenty of opportunities to develop and learn from our best people.

You’ll have the opportunity to learn and work with: Docker, Openstack private cloud, Consul, Ruxit (Dynatrace), Graylog, Ansible, Icinga, Pandora, Grafana, ELK, Gitlab, Rocket.Chat, Jenkins, Atlassian suite (Jira, Bamboo, Stash, Confluence), Groovy, Python, Bash, RedHat, Java, Postgres & MariaDB clusters, Mongodb, Wildfly, Tomcat, Maven, Sonar, Artifactory, Ngin.

Your role:

  • Assist and support colleagues with their tasks
  • Develop tools and scripts for automation needs
  • Manage Linux instances and environments
  • Manage Docker images and containers
  • Implement monitoring scripts and integrate different systems
  • Gradually learn our stack and the technologies that we’re using
  • Be transparent and responsible, communicate often, be an excellent team player, promote a DevOps mindset across teams and work in a collaborative environment
  • Work with local and remote development teams with a DevOps oriented mindset

Match your skills:

  • Fair understanding of Linux systems with a focus on CentOS or RedHat
  • Sufficient knowledge to navigate your way around a Linux server using a terminal
  • Basic scripting knowledge (Bash)
  • Basic understanding of networking terminology (TCP/UDP, DHCP, DNS, routing, firewall, load balancing)
  • Familiar with a database system
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Possess a desire to learn new technologies at an operational level and share knowledge with the team

Would be nice if you have:

  • Cloud experience (AWS, Openstack)
  • Docker experience (building and orchestrating)
  • Scripting experience (Python, Groovy, Perl)
  • Development knowledge (Java, Frontend frameworks)
